Winter is a hard time of year for wild animals. They must survive freezing temperatures and find shelter among bare trees and snow-covered landscapes. And, most importantly, they must find food. While many people feed wildlife with the best of intentions, the DuPage County Forest Preserve advises that feeding wild animals can have negative consequences.
